Australia is the only country in the world where people speak all known languages in the world as part of their lives.

We are inviting you to support the International Mother Language Movement (IMLM), Australia. Our other partners are, National Congress for Australia’s First People’s, FECCA, ANU, AIATSIS, CIT, Few Diplomatic Missions, mainstream Schools, Ethnic language schools and media and ACT Government.

As part of the Movement the second annual Mother Language Walk will be held in Canberra at the International Flag Display at 10.30am on Friday 21st and will end near the Regatta Point. The purpose of this Walk is to establish a very strong foundation to enhance community awareness about the significance of mother/heritage languages in Australia.
